Hair Extensions
New discovery... Not by me. But I was so amazed by a new revelation.
Many of my friends knew how much I loved and still love watching Oprah Winfrey Show and I can tell you zillions of reasons for me to love her discoveries and one of them is, probably revealing the truth behind every women "Rapunzelism", I named it; Hair Extension.
I ever thought of having hair extension especially after I cut my hair extremely short. I did wonder at that point of time; what are the hair extension made of? Where do they came from? Do they come from all the After cut long Hairs, that we found from the floor of the saloon? Do they wash them?
Now here is the truth. (I wanna thank Oprah Winfrey to share the truth).
Hair extension, which is ever popular, especially USA come from..... INDIA, well known for womens' extremely long tresses. Hold and behold that it came as a surprise to me that women in India are so willing to shave their head bald, as an offering to God in temple and it didn't occurs to them... themselves that the hairs they gave to the God will landed in other women head. However, upon knowing where the hairs go to, they are not offended or unhappy about it, but feel happy that their hair become blessings to others; claiming that since they already offered their hair to God, it's up to God how He wants to deal with it. Hmmmm...... Generosity.
Of course, this is not the only shocking discovery I have known in that episode of Oprah Winfrey's talk. I even found out that in some countries, they believe that women must have a heavy weight to be called beautiful. And I'm not referring to merely heavy... heavy weight but (in short), they have to be FAT to be beautiful. Once again, I repeat the word.... FAT. Hmmm...
